I started cross stitching when I was about 12 years old. Thankfully I had a mother who enjoyed crafts and
was willing to teach me what she learned. I really enjoyed the "puzzle" of following the pattern and being able to see
a picture come to life.
I was not always consistent in my stitching and there were many years where my pieces layed undone, especially in those
teenage years...but the itch to stitch always came back!
In the last two years I have been stitching much more consistently and am now venturing into learning some new techniques
like Hardanger and embroidery.
